Inane ravings of an irreverent slacker

Who am I?

I’m an ambitious college student and Army veteran in my early 30’s. Having started school much later than most, I have a pile of life experience and motivation to draw on in accomplishing my goals.

After spending two years at a community college in central IL, I’ve transferred to Stanford University to complete my undergrad studies as a physics major.

This blog will be primarily to chronicle my experiences as a non-traditional student and to serve as my own personal outlet on the many occasions that I become fascinated, frustrated, or infuriated with the world around me. Feel free to join in!

Wow, big move… but yay for Stanford!

(I didn’t go there, but I have friends who did)

Enjoying yr blog. Good luck with yr studies. I tend to believe in God but I’m not doing me head in worrying too much one way or the other. Why are atheists and Born-Agains so keen to convert people? I’m off to have tea. Tarra.
